Jesus Christ was crucified at Golgotha, which directly translates to ‘the place of the skull.’ Our logo represents the sacrifice and victory over death of our Lord. The top bar on the cross is the inscription Pilate placed above Jesus’ head, INRI; Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews. The middle bar is where the nails held our Lord to the cross. The lowest bar is the foot rest, and it is tilted up in remembrance of the thief who repented to Jesus, who ascended to paradise. The monogram “IC XC” is the Greek abbreviation for Jesus Christ, often accompanied by “NI KA” which means conqueror.
