Description
This design is inspired by the Orthodox icon Softener of Evil Hearts. The seven swords represent the complete and perfect sorrow of the Mother of God, foretold by Simeon and fulfilled as she stood by the Cross.
“Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, ‘Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against (yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.’”
- Luke 2:34–35
- Unisex
- Comfortable and Lightweight
- Normal Fit
- 100% Cotton
This product is made as soon as you place an order. This can sometimes cause delays in shipment. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
